KILO TONES
The Kilo Tones draw on diverse musicals and interests. Neil grew up in Oklahoma where he learned to sing in church, started playing the guitar after his friend passed away and left him with a collection of c.d.'s. His first acoustic guitar was given to him by his uncle. It was after he had heard from his grandmother that his father was a great drummer who owned a sparkly blue drum set, but had to sell it all to provide for his family. It was then he felt like he had the talent to go forward and decided to take on that legacy his father had left behind. He was a member of a classic rock group called "June Bug Spade" in 1994-1999. After leaving his band he began to take on his own journey with music.
Mr. Dot Dot grew up in Oklahoma. His love for music allowed him to continue
with that passion and take it to a whole different level. In the early years
he
began rapping about his daily activities while still a teenager in high
school. He attended Santa Fe High School, where he would become obsessed
with rap, often reciting rhymes for friends. Mr. Dot Dot take's the time to
concentrate. Otherwise, he could have 10 albums out there, easy. He could
sit down all day and write something. But he writes when he gets in a zone
more than writing because he has to do this. He represents the artists that
keep it true to what really is.
